The Department of Human Resource Management is pleased to announce the 2026 DHRM HR Conference, September 28–30, 2026, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This year’s theme, Control + Alt + Delete: HR Reboot and Reimagine, highlights a renewed focus on strengthening core systems, advancing innovative workforce strategies, and transforming essential HR processes. This two-and-a-half-day conference will feature nationally recognized speakers, subject-matter experts from state agencies, forward-looking sessions across all HR disciplines and valuable opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from across the Commonwealth. We will offer both keynote/general sessions and concurrent sessions throughout the conference and are seeking dynamic speakers for each format.

We invite HR leaders, practitioners, safety professionals, and workforce development professionals at all levels throughout state government to participate.

Individuals or agency team members interested in presenting are invited to submit a proposal. Please review the Call for Proposals guidelines for submission requirements. All proposals must be submitted by May 29, 2026, via email to hrevents@dhrm.virginia.gov.
