The Virginia Economic and Tourism Intern Program, a joint program of Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) and Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC), provides students with a hands-on, cohort-based learning experience. Interns explore careers in government while building skills through real-world projects. In 2025, 17 interns from 12 universities contributed to 13 divisions across both organizations. The program offers roles in areas like International Trade, Marketing, Public Policy, IT, and more. Recognized as one of Virginia’s 2025 Top Employers for Interns, it supports both professional growth and academic connections.
