Non-Member Provider Search and Prescription Drug Pricing

Thinking about enrolling in COVA Care, COVA HealthAware or COVA HDHP? Here are some tools that may help.

Non-members may use these steps to locate participating providers and prescription drug pricing.

COVA Care and COVA HDHP

Provider Search

• Go to Anthem
• Select Find Care
• Search as a guest
• Select the type of plan or network: Medical
• Select the state where the plan or network is offered: Virginia
• Select how you get health insurance: Medical (Employer-Sponsored)
• Select a plan or network for COVA Care: Commonwealth of Virginia PPO
• Select a plan or network for COVA HDHP: HealthKeepers OAPOS

COVA HealthAware

Find a Provider

1. Go to COVA Health Aware
2. Scroll down about halfway on the webpage and click on Find a Provider Search Tool.
3. Click on the link labeled Find a Provider directory within the text. This will open a new window that links to the COVA HealthAware network.

Use the right side of the screen to continue as a guest to perform a search for providers.

Pharmacy Price-a-Med Tool

• Go to www.anthem.com/cova
• Scroll to Pharmacy Plan Details, select the plan and enter the drug name

Kaiser Permanente, HMO

Find a Provider

For quick access, copy and paste the link below

• Select / choose Members: choose your physicians at Kaiser Permanente
• Search based on zip code or specialty

Pricing a Medication

• Go to www.kp.org
• Click on "learn"
• Scroll down to "pharmacy made easy" and click on the link

Sentara Health Plans

Find Doctors

• Go to www.sentarahealthplans.com/cova
• Along the top ribbon, select "Find Doctors, Dentists and Medications"
• Select “Find a Doctor"
• Select your location by entering either city or zip code
• For “Network”, search “Sentara Vantage"
• You may then search Providers by Name or Specialty and Practices by Name or Type

Pricing a Medication

• Go to www.sentarahealthplans.com/cova
• Along the top ribbon, select “Find Doctors, Dentists and Medications”
• Select “Find Medications”
• For “Plan” select “Sentara Health Plans Open Formulary”
• Select “Search for Medication” under “Compare medication prices”
• Enter the medication name and other information requested, then select “Search”
