HRI Application

Application Process

Applying for the HRI certification program is a two-step process, using the same application form * for both.

Step 1: If you have any previous HR training, education, and/or work experience that you believe might be credited toward your state HR certification, fill out the application with all relevant information and submit it to the Certification Board for their review.

After the Board has reviewed your information, you will be notified about how much credit you will
be given and what requirements remain for the particular certification program you are entering.
You will then complete all remaining requirements.

Step 2: Once you are satisfied that you have met all requirements, you will submit your application for certification to the Board, identifying the requirements that you have fulfilled by course and date.

The Board will review the application. If you have fully completed all requirements, the Board will
issue a certificate and advise you of the date and time for the formal recognition ceremony.
If the Board believes that you still have requirements outstanding, the application will be returned
with the appropriate requirements identified for completion.
