CPM Application Process
In order to apply, one must have:
- the participant's supervisor's agreement to time and financial
commitment,
- the participant's agreement to time and personal financial commitment,
and
- met eligibility requirements (see "Can
I apply to this program?")
After completing
the application
- print a copy
- get the required signatures
- submit by mail along with a non-refundable $25 application fee.
In addition to the application form, candidates must submit
the following information:
- A 200 word or less statement explaining why he/she is interested
in the VACPM Program and how he/she expects to benefit, now
and in the the future, from participation.
- A description of current and past government agency positions,
managerial experience and educational background.

A letter of recommendation from his/her immediate supervisor
or agency director addressing the appropriateness of this
individual's participation in the Program and approval of
release time, traveling to training sites, and working on
mandatory work-related projects. If applicable, the statement
should also address the agency's financial support of the
candidate's participation in the Program.
