Pay Band Field Added (Applicant Site)
A pay band search option has been added to the applicant site. This means applicants can search for job postings by pay band.
Location Fields
Location numbers have been added to the location field. Locations without numbers will be moved to a new field “Sub Location.”
A new district location field has also been added.
Social Security Numbers
Effective September 15, 2007, the optional social security number field will be removed from RMS. This means applicants will not have the option of entering a social security number in RMS. This change is necessary for consistency in protecting applicants’ personal information. The social security number can be obtained at the appropriate time during the hiring process.
Position Numbers
Effective September 15, 2007, the position number will be a required field. All position numbers must have 5-characters (alpha and/or numeric).
E-Notification Letter for Cancelled Positions
An e-notification letter to send to applicants when a position is cancelled will be available for use no later than September 15, 2007. This letter must be manually selected for the appropriate applicants.
List of Applicant Statuses
A list of applicant statuses will be sent to HR Directors no later than September 15, 2007.
Continuous and Multiple Hire Recruitments (Status Update)
A “pooling” feature which will allow for copying applicants to continuous and multiple hire recruitments is in phase two of the implementation process. In phase two, DHRM EEO and ITECH staff will review and test the feature. The implementation date is pending.
